Steiff Club
	Florian Club edition 2021 Teddy bear, is 30 cm in size, 5-way jointed with extra long arms, head and limbs are loosely attached to the body, made from dark beige colored artificial silk plush, is limited to 1250 pieces and comes in a collectors box with certificate of authenticity. Florian Teddy bear is based on the design of a very popular Teddy bear named Flo, from 2009. All three 2021 club bears have a cotton ribbon with bell around their neck and of course, all three wear the exclusive Steiff club grey ear tag. EAN 421648

	Event bear 2021, is 23 cm in size, 5-way jointed, made from sand colored mohair. The bear does not come in a box but has a certificate of authenticity. He has dark eyes and a dark-brown, hand-embroidered nose. His close ties with Florian, the Club edition 2021, and the 2021 annual gift can be seen from his matching cotton collar with bell. The Event bear was only available at Steiff club events. The bear will only be available in 2021 and the edition size has not been announced by Steiff yet. EAN 421655

	Steiff Club membershift gift 2021 Teddy bear, is 10 cm in size, 5-way jointed, head and limbs are loosely attached to the body, and comes in a collectors box with certificate of authenticity. For the very first time, the 2021 annual gift has been lovingly sewn by hand from dark beige colored artificial silk plush. The Teddy bear’s design and the bell on his cotton collar show that he is related to Florian, the Club edition 2021. The bear will only be available in 2021 and the edition size has not been announced by Steiff yet. EAN 421662

	Gretle Teddy bear, is 60 cm in size, 5-way jointed, made from a bright white linen plush, is limited to 141 pieces only and comes in a very nice collectors box with certificate of authenticity. The fifteenth Margarete Steiff Edition is a new highlight. Teddy bear Gretle points the way to the future: the proud, feminine-looking bear is conscious of tradition, oriented towards and receptive to change, as well as being sustainable, valuable and beautiful. She symbolizes a year that encourages us humans to change our way of thinking and the woman who exemplified it. Organoid® Almwiesn, the material of the paw pads, comes from Tyrolean mountain meadows and contains alpine hay, wildflowers and marguerites. The wood of the Teddy bear’s nose is a small part of the big old ash tree that stood in front of the former main entrance for many decades and the shiny, deep black glass eyes create an exciting contrast to the hazelnut brown on the nose and mouth. Steiff was the first company to make Peter Rabbit in 1904 and continue this long standing relationship with a new arrival to the range. The Tale of Mr. Tod is a children's book written and illustrated by Beatrix Potter, first published by Frederick Warne & Co. in 1912. The tale is about a badger called Tommy Brock and his arch enemy Mr. Tod, a fox. Mr. Tod is a fantastic interpretation of his role in the Peter Rabbit 2 movie. 	Tommy Brock, is 34 cm in size, 3-way jointed, made from black/white colored mohair and is limited to 2000 pieces. Steiff was the first company to make Peter Rabbit in 1904 and continue this long standing relationship with a new arrival to the range. Tommy Brock is a shelter-less, grouchy badger and one of the secondary antagonists to Peter Rabbit and is based on the fictional anthropomorphic character of the same name created by Beatrix Potter. Despite being a predator to Peter and his friends, he is also a rival to Mr. Tod. Tommy Brock is a fantastic interpretation of his role in the Peter Rabbit 2 movie. This is the first piece of the new Steiff Rocks series that will celebrate famous artists, idols and music stars. This Teddy bear celebrates the 50th anniversary of Queen, the champions of British rock. The classic line up of Freddie Mercury, Brian May and Roger Taylor was completed in 1971, when John Deacon joined the group. Together, Queen created a string of global chart-topping success with singles and albums that are the soundtrack to the last 50 years. Queen are one of the biggest stadium rock bands in the world and many describe their appearance at Live Aid in 1985, as one of the greatest rock performances of all time. 	The Krumbacher frog, is 16 cm in size, not jointed, made from green colored plush and is limited to 11000 pieces. Krumbach is a company in Germany that produces mineral water. After a succesful campaign in 2017, 2018 and 2019 (Steiff Krumbacher plush cow, chick and lamb) was another campaign started in Autumn 2021. After a customer bought 15 cases, each containing 12 bottles, of mineral water one could obtain the Krumbacher frog for free. 	Teddy bear 1926, is 40 cm in size, 5-way jointed, has glass eyes, a squeaker, is wood wool stuffed, made from brown tipped colored mohair and is limited to 926 pieces. In the “Roaring Twenties”, Steiff launched a variety of lively, cheerful spirited bears that could not fail to match the mood. The most coveted of these were tipped mohair. These beautiful bears had large welcoming pupil eyes, a less pronounced snout and overall had a softer, friendlier face. At the 2002 Steiff Festival, a tipped Teddy bear from 1926 sold for 156,240 euros and still holds the World Record as the most expensive auctioned antique Teddy bear ever! Steiff produced dogs of every breed but their most successful was “Molly”, offered for the first time in 1925. She was a big hit and caused quite a sensation when she outsold the teddy bears! Her popularity encouraged Steiff to make a wide variety of designs including bags, hand warmers, purses, pyjama cases, hand puppets and wheeled toys. He is the chief of the Gaulish village, generally reasonable, well informed, fearless, even tempered and unambitious. His major failings are his love of good food and drink which has led to health problems, and his pride. As a Gaulish chief, he prefers to travel on a shield, carried by two shield bearers (they say pride comes before a fall and he finds creative new ways to fall off the shield in almost every book). 	Snoopy, is 9 cm in size, not jointed, made from white/black colored trevira velvet and is limited to 1000 pieces. Charles Schultz, creator of the famous Peanuts comics, once said that the best idea he ever had in the strip was to move Snoopy from inside his doghouse to the rooftop. Every year since 1998, a Museum bear has been produced for the Margarete Steiff Museum. These bears have proved extremely popular with Steiff fans and collectors. So this year too, the popular series of Museum Teddy Bears is being continued. Museum Bear has been crafted in the traditional Steiff colores yellow and red. Her nose has been stitched vertically in yellow yarn with one horizontal line in red yarn. She wears a yellow ribbon that has "Steiff Museumbaer" and "2021" printed on it in red. 	G-bear, is 26 cm in size, 5-way jointed, made from blond colored mohair and is limited to 500 pieces only. The bear was issued to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the japanese jewelry brand "Rosen Hemden". It was produced in cooperation with the japanese singer Hiromi Go under the supervision of his exclusive stylist Joe. This version wears a detailed replica of the 2015 concert tour costume of Hiromi Go. The bear wears a brass pendant (rhodium coating) with a 18 mm rhinestone ruby on a 50 cm long chain. 	Kaiju Booska, is 27 cm in size, 3-way jointed, made from dark yellow mohair and is limited to 1966 pieces. Booska is the name of a cute, friendly, human-sized kaiju (monster) that looks like a cross between a bucktoothed teddy bear and a giraffe. It was originally an iguana until its owner and mega-genius, Daisuke Tonda, fed it experimental powder called "kuropara" meant to grow the creature into a giant dinosaur-like monster that Daisuke could control. Booska himself appeared wearing a "Boo Crown" which is made from the element Booskanium, appearing as three golden horns running from front to back down his head. This is the source of all his magical abilities, as well as his intelligence, so if he loses the crown he loses his abilities as well. By using his Boo Crown, Booska can fly, lift up to 100 tons, or even turn invisible, among a number of other powers including shooting lasers and an extendible/retractable tail. Kaiju Booska is a famous children's sitcom, the first to feature the friendly monster, which aired on Nippon TV. This item was issued to celebrate the 140th anniversary of the "Gallery of Hakaba". 	The Samurai Teddy bear 2021, is 25 cm in size, 5-way jointed, is made from cream colored mohair and is not limited (yellow ear-tag) but only a undisclosed number of this edition will be produced. It is the fifth edition of Teddy bears in a Japanese armor suit. When originally ordered the Teddy bear came with a wooden card (87mm x 50mm) that contained the name (max 3 letters in Kanji / Katakana / Hiragana) and birthday (in Arabic numerals) of the person that ordered the item. An acrylic case (56x33x36 cm) to display the Samurai could be bought seperately. The back of the case has a mirror so you can see the details of the armor. Compared to the glass case, the acrylic case is very light and easy to handle. The acrylic surface is coated with antistatic agent. The Samurai Teddy bear with the wooden card displayed in the acrylic case resembles a dignified Steiff May doll. The May doll is a doll that is displayed at the end of the day and celebrates the birth of a boy, and is a strong, strong and wise adult. 	Baby Shiba Inu, is 20 cm in size, 1-way jointed, made from white colored alpaca and is limited to 1500 pieces only. In the 1920s, dogs were the stars at Steiff. Ladies carried plush dogs. Steiff dogs were considered social companions in the United States. One hundred years later and the Classic series is featuring the special ancient Japanese dog breed, the clever little baby Shiba Inu, a watchdog and hunting companion. 	Chibi Maruko-Chan, is 25 cm in size, 1-way jointed (head), is made from a multicolored mohair and limited to 1500 pieces. Chibi Maruko-Chan is a Japanese anime and manga series which celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2021. Momoko Sakura, the creator of the long-running manga Chibi Maruko-Chan, was the pen name of the Japanese manga artist from Shimizu, Shizuoka Prefecture. Momoko Sakura is the main character. In the series, she is always addressed through the nickname Maruku or by her surname Sakura. Maruko has short black hair, with seven locks of hair which act as her bangs. Unlike most characters, she sports visible pink cheeks, which easily distinguish herself from others and are a particularly unique trait to her image. In most cases she is depicted wearing a white long-sleeved blouse, a red plaited skirt with attached shoulder straps, white socks and red shoes. Depending on the season during which an episode takes place, however, her clothes are changed to accustom the climate; in episodes taking place during summer, for instance, she instead wears a short-sleeved shirt (often in yellow) with shorts (often in red). Momoko Sakura was a lover of Teddy bears, hence the small Teddy bear which is attached to her hand, which is made from light brown mohair and is not jointed. 	Hinaningyo Teddy bear set 2021, each 15 cm in size, 5-way jointed and made from blond/vanilla colored mohair. This set is limited to 1500 pieces only. Hinamatsuri, also called Doll's Day or Girls' Day, is a special day in Japan. Celebrated on 3 March of each year, platforms covered with a red carpet-material are used to display a set of ornamental dolls (hina-ningyo) representing the Emperor, Empress, attendants, and musicians in traditional court dress of the Heian period. Families with young daughters mark this day by setting up such a display of dolls inside the house. They offer rice crackers and other food to the dolls. Both bears are dressed in very nice kimono's which have been made with attention to a lot of detail. The design is a cherry tree on the "Seven Treasures" pattern. The seven treasures refer to gold, silver, emerald, coral, giant clamshell, glass and pearl. This should reflect amicable and good relationships that will lead to eternity. Steiff is produced in Germany and there is a tradition of handing down a teddy bear from parent to child and then lovingly from generation to generation. Similarly in Japan there are dolls that are inherited. The original set came with a special wooden name plate (5x8,7 cm) that could be personalized with a name (3 characters in kanji/katakana/hiragana, english characters were not allowed) and birthdate (in numbers, Chinese numerals were not allowed). The folding screen (51x24,4 cm) has a golden shine to refelct the image of the costume, and the pedestal (45x27x1,2 cm) is wine red to reflect the luxury of this set. 	Disney 20th Anniversary Duffy Christmas bear, is 28 cm in size, 5-way jointed, made from blond colored mohair and is limited to 2500 pieces. This Christmas version of Duffy, the bear of happiness and luck, was issued to celebrated the 20th anniversary Tokyo Disney Sea. This Teddy bear is based on "Duffy, the Disney Bear" and his story created for Tokyo DisneySea® Theme Park.
