	Paper Teddy bear 1919, is made from brown paper plush, has a squeaker, is 5 way jointed, 32 cm in size and limited to 3000 pieces only. This bear is a prime example for the enthusiasm for innovation and creativity by Steiff, because this bear was made of paper plush following World War I when conventional materials were unavailable. 	The Steiff Club Annual Edition 2010, a cream colored fluffy mohair bear, is 30 cm in size and 5-way jointed. He has pupil eyes and his nose, mouth and claws are hand-stitched with a cinnamon colored thread. The soles of his feet and his paws are also made of fine mohair and are a perfect match with the color of his fur. 	The Event bear 2010, only available at special Steiff trunk shows and club events, is made out of sand mohair and is a 21 cm in size. This bear commemorates the 100th anniversary of the famous "Pantom Bear" by Albert Schlopnies from 1910. Particularly striking is the white stitching across its black nose which is an extremely rare facial characteristic. Its right foot is embroidered with the words "Steiff Club". The bear does not come in a box but has a certificate of authenticity and was limited to 2525 pieces. EAN 421112

	The Mini Steiff Summer Festival 2010 Teddy bear, is limited to 130 pieces, 18 cm in size and was not available for sale. This bear was presented as a gift by Steiff to each of the exhibitors at the Steiff Summer festival. He is made of cream mohair and wears a nice white colored ribbon around his neck. 	The Polar bear on wheels 1911 was manufactured during demonstrations at the fifth "Steiff Sommer" in 2010. The Polar bear on wheels is made from white mohair, 17 cm in size, has glass eyes and is filled with wood shavings. He is limited to an edition of 500. 	The Steiff Summer Festival workshop Teddy bear has been produced in an edition of 77 pieces only at the Steiff Summer Festival 2010 in Giengen Germany. The unusual aspect of this bear is that there is no bear in this edition of 77 pieces which looks alike. Each bear was produced by one of the 77 participants of the workshop organized by the Steiff Club during the Summer Festival. The bears paws are embroidered with the festival logo (right) and name of the participant and date of the event (left). Each participant could choose the color of the eyes and the yarn for the stitching of the nose, mouth and paws. The growler and eyes were put in by the participants as was the stitching done by themselves. They had to stuff the bear as well with some of the wood shavings after they had put in the growler. When he learns Jemima Puddle-duck is looking for a nest he offers her the use of his woodshed, but not for Jemima to hatch her ducklings, but so that he can take the eggs for himself. 	The Teddy bear with Maerklin HO locomotive 20 Years of German reunification, consists out of a 12 cm, 5-way jointed, gold mohair Steiff Teddy bear called Eberhard and a special limited Maerklin HO steam locomotive (11,5 cm). Eberhard wears an uniform and holds a sign in remembrance of the German unification. The Maerklin locomotive is "H0-Dampflokomotive BR80" which comes in a gold color. The locomotive is to remember the famous train trip from Prague to Berlin, in which the DDR people, after very difficult and lengthy negotiations, were brought from the German embassy in Prague to Berlin. This event is seen as the igniter of the peaceful revolution of 1989. This bear was not available in any store and one could only obtain him with the purchase of a Bose product. 	Steinheim Elmar junior huemul, is 15 cm in size, not jointed, made from cream colored mohair and is limigted to 3000 pieces. It is a promotional item produced by the German town called Steinheim, which is one of the oldest settlements in the area of Eastern Swabian. Also found there are temporal Merovingian tombs which are an indicate of an early development of the town. The town is located in a basin created by a meteor. The "Steinheim crater" is a meteorite crater incurred approximately 14.5 million years ago - the best preserved worldwide. It became world famous through geological and paleontological finds. This huemel does come with a certificate of authenticity but not in a box. EAN 990601

	Steinheim Elmar forked deer, is 23 cm in size, not jointed, made from brown colored plush and is limited to 3000 pieces. It is a promotional item produced by the German town called Steinheim, which is one of the oldest settlements in the area of Eastern Swabian. This forked deer was designed by Steiff, the municipality of Steinheim am Albuch and scientifically supported by the renowned paleontologist Dr. Elmar Heizmann. They lived in the Steinheim Basin 14 million years ago and are animals of the Upper Tertiary, or Miocene. The fossilized skeletons were found in the deposits of the crater lake, which formed after the impact of the Steinheim meteorite in today's Steinheim Basin. Rains is the mascot of a German company called PYADES Technologies GmbH who specializes on computer visualistics as well as mobile development, character recognition from pictures, creative image data technologies and high-performance pattern recognition on the Internet to track violations of trademark rights. 	Since his introduction in 1902, the popularity of Peter Rabbit has never waned. Although he appeared in just six books by Beatrix Potter (the last published nearly a hundred years ago), this is one character that has endured the test of time. With fewer and fewer vintage Teddy bears available on the market, more and more collectors are becoming interested in Teddy bears that have been artistically aged to simulate antique Teddy bears. PGB 35 (Plüsch Gestänge Beweglich 35 cm) is the world's second Teddy bear and he is a smaller brother of PB 55. PGB 35 is made from dark blond mohair, is of course 35 cm in size sitting and 50 cm standing, is rod-jointed, stuffed with wood shavings and is limited to 1904 pieces. The original Teddy bear, on which the PGB 35 replica is based, was discovered by a prominent collector in Switzerland. It was brought to the company’s attention last year. 	Every year since 1998, a Museum bear has been produced for the Margarete Steiff Museum. These bears have proved extremely popular with Steiff fans and collectors. So this year too, the popular series of Museum Teddy Bears is being continued. The Steiff Museum Bear 2010 gray tipped is 28 cm tall and is traditionally handcrafted in the finest colored mohair. Around his neck he wears light gray ribbon with a porcelain badge on which "Steiff Museum" is printed. The Museum Bear has jointed arms, legs and head, hand-stitched claws and is limited to an edition of the sold bears during the year 2010. He has on his right paw "Steiff Museumsbaer" and on his left "2010" embroidered. He comes with a certificate and does not have a box. The edition size of this bear was 469 pieces only. EAN 673177

	The Good soldier Svejk with dog, is made from mohair and is limited to 1500 pieces. The Good soldier Švejk (also spelled Schweik or Schwejk) is the abbreviated title of an unfinished satirical novel by Jaroslav Hašek. It was illustrated by Josef Lada and George Grosz after Hašek's death. The original Czech title of the work literally translated is "The Fateful Adventures of the Good Soldier Švejk During the World War". Hašek originally intended Švejk to cover a total of six volumes, but had completed only four (which are now usually merged into one book) upon his death from tuberculosis in 1923. The Svejk Teddy bear is 25 cm in size, is made from blond mohair and has a squeaker. His dog is 10 cm and is made from brown/white mohair. 	Steiff has been a love and passion of the Adler clan for four generations. Although the family has over 500 vintage Steiff collectibles, this special bruin – affectionately called “Teddy Blum” after Erika Blum Adler, the family grand-matriarch – is the crown jewel of the family’s collection. In 1932, Erika won Teddy Blum as a door prize at the annual ball of the German Book Association in Berlin, Germany. In 1934, Erika and Teddy Blum fled the growing troubles in Germany to the relative stability of India. 	When you visit the famed Puppenhaus Museum in Basel, Switzerland, there’s a very special Teddy bear you need to meet. He is known simply as “specimen number 1766”. Manufactured in 1916, he is perhaps the epitome of Steiff Teddy bears from the period. 	The Matthias nostalgia Teddy bear, is the next in a series of nostalgia bears that is designed to take you back to the golden age of Teddy bears.
